Singing Student Spotlight

Kristina Aged 15

Kristina completed her national 5 music this year, achieving an overall A with full marks for her vocal performance. She also competed in Falkirk School's Young Musician of the Year, where she won first place for the junior catagory, performing her Grade 3 piece 'Don't cry for me Argentina'. Well done Kristina!

Mirren Aged 13

Mirren is one of my RMC Academy Vocal students. She recently auditioned for Junior RSNO. She was asked to audition with a piece Grade 3 or above. I am delighted to announce that she was given a place after auditioning with Grade 6 piece 'Memory' from the musical 'Cats'. Well done Mirren!

Eve Aged 16

Eve has been performing from a yooung age and this year, she auditioned for Grease the musical (junior version) with Glasgow Philharmonic. Eve was selected as part of the ensemble and we can't wait to see her performing. Eve also completed her National 5 Exams this year and achieved an A for Music. She received 100% for her vocal performances. Excellent work Eve!

Kristina performing 'Journey to the Past' from the musical 'Anastasia'. She performed at a national competition (UK & Ireland) in Dublin and was awarded 2nd Place for musical theatre performance category.

One of my younger students aged 7, performing 'Maria" from 'The Sound of Music' at RMC Academy Christmas Showcase, at Broom Church.

Kristina performing 'Don't Cry for Me, Argentina' using her classical technique.

This event took place at her school, Denny High, and was part of the Scottish young Musicians Competition. Kristina competed her Grade 3 piece as part of the Junior category and achieved First Place. She also used this piece for her National 5 performance exam in March 2025.
